Tiny dewdrops of our most ardent desires
were sprinkled all over your jasmined skin,
Your eyelids distilling our non spoken longings;
May daring gold bridges arise from this bliss?
Let Mediterranean become our shared cradle,
Llevant, Günbatısı weave our wings and hold,
Let elders discuss about flags and religions,
it is lastly you to whom I do devote.
Yet your taste and kiss lie down fresh in this chest,
closest in flesh, deepest in heart,
outrunning all twilights, snatching my rest.
Yet I torment again with a plosion of fears,
so afraid to delight with our past sacred sins,
in a sudden outburst for your soul, worthest gift.
Yet your eyes mesmerize me recalling our loss,
that new world of us, a new life such,
an ephemeral, immortal though, divine touch.
Yet you are and will be my hidden sole light,
an everlasting daydream;
my first thought of day, and my last wish at night.
